Accessibility statement

The AI Lab wants this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, or browser zoom. We aim to meet the international WCAG 2.1 AA standard, and we treat accessibility as part of the work rather than an afterthought.
What we have done
- Built the pages with semantic HTML and clear heading structure, so assistive technology can navigate them.
- Made everything operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Given form fields proper labels, and the Readiness Check answers and rating stars text alternatives.
- Provided text alternatives for images, and hidden purely decorative graphics from screen readers.
- Used a responsive layout that reflows and stays readable when zoomed or viewed on small screens.
- Respected the "reduce motion" setting, so the one ambient animation is switched off for people who prefer that.
Known limitations
We are honest about where we are still improving:
- Some text set in the brand teal on a light background can fall just below the AA contrast ratio at small sizes. Where we use it, colour is never the only way information is conveyed, and we are reviewing these instances.
- The interactive Readiness Check and the report charts have been built with care, but if any part is hard to use with assistive technology we would like to hear about it.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox) and common screen readers. It does not depend on cookies, and it does not show pop-ups or auto-playing media.
